This command is used in the troubleshooting of hybrid joined computers. i.e. Computers that are joined to what we might call an on-premise Active-Directory as well as an Azure AD domain. Being a member of the Azure AD is useful when wanting to enable the computer in certain functions. One function might be to allow the computer to interact with SCCM when not on Corporate network (i.e. Example: they are at home but idling when the VPN has kicked them off)
As an aside: It also does a great job of communicating the workstation proxy settings.
